November Image Competition 2020

Hello Photographers,

This month on Tuesday, Nov 17th, PPWC will host Double Image Competition Night. For this last image competition of the year members will be allowed to enter up to four images. This is our last hurrah!

Online via ZOOM.  Members of PPWC/PPSV/PPSCV may submit up to 4 images.  

The Submission Deadline
Deadline to enter is SUNDAY, November 15thth at 11:59PM.
Don't miss it! Each member by enter up to FOUR IMAGES.

1) Selecting Your Images

You may enter your images into the following categories:

Please see our website for full descriptions.
W // Wedding (images captured at a wedding or with a wedding couple or individual)
SP // Studio Portraits (human or animal captured indoors at a studio)
EP // Environmental Portrait (human or animal captured outdoors)
E // Electronic (image composites using multiple images captured and created by the photographer)
I // Illustrative (any other images that do not fit within the other categories)

Remember that judges are following PPA standards. Please reference our website for available categories and for the 12 Elements of a Merit Image, and the general rules of image competition.

2) Ready Your Files

Name Your File:
category abbreviation,title,your first and last name.jpg
ie: W, First Kiss, Norah Burrows.jpg

3) Uploading to Dropbox

PPWC Members, check your email for the dropbox link.
Remember, you do NOT need to login to your dropbox or signup for dropbox. If this seems too easy, then you're on the right track! :)

4) Zoom Procedures

Please check your email on Tuesday, November 17th for the link and virtual image competition procedures. As before, you may join around 6:20 to say hello and then around 6:40 we will begin our image competition. We are looking forward to it!
