Movie Night! and Print Comp, September 17, 2013

We are excited to announce our September meeting:
MOVIE NIGHT!!

We will start the evening out with our Print Comp at 6:30p.m.
Movie starts at 7:15p.m.

Karna and Norah will host FANTASTIC movie-style treats.  Worth the price of admission!
Please bring your comfy slippers, bean bags, etc. and have a fun evening with us!

Movie shown:  "Waste Land" from 2010.  An INCREDIBLE documentary about renowned artist Vik Muniz...as he embarks on one of the most inspired collaborations of his career, joining creative forces with Brazilian garbage pickers who mine treasure from the trash heaps of Rio de Janeiro's Jardim Gramacho landfill. This amazing documentary shows a completely different side of how one can use art and photography to make a HUGE difference in people's lives!  You won't want to miss this.  I've seen this film twice and can't wait to see it again next Tuesday!!! :)
