"There is life after 79!"
This program will examine the process and results of professional image competition at the local and state levels. We will review images from the PPC’s previous competitions, and we discuss the theories of the “12 Elements” and their foundations that make up the process of print competition.
I will discuss how judges evaluate each image and review the scoring process so that each image is judged fairly and completely. The impact of the Professional Photographers of America competition will be discussed when we talk about the competition ladder.

There’s more than just squeaky toys when it comes to creating portraits of our 4-legged family members. Lisa Asp, owner of Tangerine House of Design in Edina, MN, has been photographing pets since 2001 and has learned a thing or two along the way. Join us as she shares the inside scoop on training her (human) clients, lighting their dogs, getting expressions that sell, and what products are her best sellers. As part of this seminar, Lisa will also discuss safety in working with pets, posing, lighting and lens selection.
