Dear PPWC Members and Friends,
PPWC is very excited to announce that we have secured 20 press passes for the Sonoma County Fair for Sunday, August 7th!
Only the first 20 photographers to RSVP may receive a pass. Please RSVP to Karna Roa karnamarie @ yahoo . com
**Your friend or partner may come to keep your company. They won't need a Press Pass to join us, but they may not take pictures with professional cameras or have tripods.
**We will need to agree on a meeting time and a location to meet to receive your badge from Karna. Karna will be picking up the badges that day just before 4pm. You will pick up your badges from Karna at that time.
Here are the Details as we know them so far:
- The date is Sunday, August 7, 2016
- Time slot for our PPWC group will be 4 PM - close.
- The group will be limited to 20 members.
- 20 "Approved Camera" badges will be provided and members will be required to wear them and return them to the Admin Office when they leave. (This badge does not grant access to other paid events or areas not open to the public.)
- Fair admission must be purchased by each member. (Get your tickets when they go on pre-sale May 14th to save! You will also need to pay for parking.)
- In turn for the accommodation of our group, the SoCo Fair committee would like a compiled folder (DropBox or CD) of HIGH-res photos from your group that may be used for our marketing. Please note that no compensation will be provided and though we do our best to give credit to the photographer, we can't always. (That said, we can each give them a few images and decide WHICH images to give them!)
- Lastly, please be courteous of our other patrons and sensitive to their requests for privacy. Tripods will be allowed but please be cautious of tripping hazards or impeding others from enjoying their Fair experience.
